At the time of her disappearance, Stephanie lived with her mother and her mother's boyfriend. Her mother, who was out of town visiting family, reported her missing about a week later. Investigators do not believe Stephanie left voluntarily, as it was uncharacteristic of her to disappear without notifying anyone.
