Bobby Linwood Barbers, age 54, went missing on July 2, 2010, while working as a crew member aboard the 74-foot fishing vessel *Gallant Fox*. The boat was located about 30 miles off the coast of Oregon Inlet, North Carolina, when Barbers was reported to have fallen overboard at approximately 5:00 a.m. He was on watch at the time, and another crew member, who came to relieve him, discovered he was missing.
