Christopher Panchyshyn, a 29-year-old man from Richmond, Virginia, was reported missing on April 9, 2011, after a tragic boating accident off Oregon Inlet, North Carolina. Panchyshyn was deep-sea fishing with three friends when their 26-foot boat was struck by large waves while navigating the rough waters. The boat capsized, throwing three of the four passengers, including Panchyshyn, into the ocean.
