Maureen Therese Sherman, a 47-year-old woman from Miami, Florida, went missing on May 2, 1985. She was last seen leaving her home in her red Plymouth Reliant K station wagon. According to reports, she had expressed intentions to drive her car into a nearby canal. Neither she nor her vehicle were ever seen again.
