In the summer of 1985, the life of Verna Sue Hollingsworth, a 43-year-old resident of Fort Smith, Arkansas, took a turn that left her family with decades of unanswered questions. She was last seen on July 10, 1985, after what seemed to be an ordinary trip. Verna had recently returned home from a visit with her daughter in Texas.
