Nancy Debra Willis, 25 years old at the time, was last seen on December 23, 1986, in Gate City, Virginia, where she was visiting family for Christmas. Originally from Scott County, Virginia, she had lived in various locations, including Johnson City, Tennessee, and Ringgold, Georgia. Nancy was supposed to return home to Ringgold after her visit, but she never contacted her family again, which was unusual for her.
