Edward Joseph Labrie, aged 61, was last seen on September 16, 1989, when he and his sister, Shirley Klemgard, went fishing on Lake Ontario near Alexandria Bay, New York. They were in a 16-foot fiberglass boat with red and white trim and a black 40-horsepower Evinrude motor. Witnesses believed they saw the siblings heading towards Henderson Harbor from Galoo Island around 6:00 p.m. that evening.
