Mary Louise Walker, aged 40, was last seen on December 16, 1995, in Long Beach, California. At the time, she was living in the 1900 block of Lewis Avenue. On the day of her disappearance, a witness reported seeing Mary’s boyfriend punch her in the face, knocking her unconscious. The boyfriend then demanded the witness leave, and Mary has not been seen since.

Mary had a history of domestic violence with this boyfriend, who later became the prime suspect in her disappearance. He is currently serving time in prison for unrelated crimes. Mary was a vulnerable adult who struggled with illiteracy and had physical limitations from a childhood bout with polio, which caused her to walk with a limp. She also had distinctive tattoos, including a red and black rose on her left arm and three cherries on her back.

Despite the suspicion of foul play, Mary’s case remains unsolved, and her body has never been found. The Long Beach Police Department continues to seek information that could resolve her disappearance.
