Sarah Hajney, a 16-year-old high school cheerleader from McLean, New York, went missing on October 4, 1996, along with her best friend Jennifer Bolduc. The girls were last seen while house-sitting at Sarah's home in Dryden, New York. When they failed to show up for school, their families reported them missing. Authorities soon found Sarah's father’s car abandoned, leading them to suspect foul play.
