Douglas G. Depue, 33, was last seen on November 1, 1997, while fishing alone on Seneca Lake, near Watkins Glen, New York. He was spotted at around 10:30 a.m. in his Lund Bass boat. However, two hours later, at 12:30 p.m., his boat was found drifting approximately three miles north of Watkins Glen, near Hector Falls, with no sign of Douglas aboard.
