Nguyen Du Trinh, a 34-year-old man, went missing on June 17, 2000, from San Diego, California. On the day of his disappearance, he was last seen by a friend at a club in Tijuana, Mexico. A few days later, his wife received a phone call stating that Nguyen was okay and would return home that evening, but he never did. His car was later found abandoned in the parking lot of a card room in San Diego. Despite this, there were no further leads on his whereabouts.
At the time of his disappearance, Trinh was wearing a white and green striped polo shirt and white pants. He also wore an 18K gold chain with a red jade Buddha pendant. Trinh, who had scars on one of his legs, stood about 5'8" and weighed approximately 180 pounds. The San Diego Police Department continues to investigate the case, but no significant updates have been reported.
