Daniel Horton, age 43, went missing on November 24, 2002, from Port Angeles, Washington. He and a friend were out checking crab pots in a small boat near Hood Canal off Pizmo Beach on the Coyle Peninsula when their boat capsized. Horton attempted to swim to shore, but unfortunately, he sank beneath the water before he could make it to safety. Despite extensive search efforts, neither Horton nor his body was ever recovered.
