Lloyd Harold Skelton, a 56-year-old experienced outdoorsman from Minneapolis, went missing on June 1, 2005, during a camping trip in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCA) in northern Minnesota. Skelton, who had a deep passion for wilderness adventure, was last seen after purchasing a day hiking permit for the 14-mile Angleworm Trail. His initial plan was to kayak, but poor weather conditions led him to opt for a hike instead.
