Thomas Leonard Irwin, known to his loved ones as Tom, was a 73-year-old man who embarked on a solo road trip from Los Angeles, California, to his home in Indiana in January 2024. On January 14th, he made a stop in Cortez, Colorado. The following day, January 15th, he drove into the vast and historic landscape of Mesa Verde National Park.
