Richard Mark Linse, aged 55, was last seen in Redding, California, on September 23, 2007. Linse disappeared after leaving the Showboat Lounge on foot around 1:00 a.m. He never made it back home, leaving behind all of his personal belongings, including his dog. At the time of his disappearance, Linse was wearing an orange t-shirt, blue jeans, and a red baseball cap with the word "AXNER" on it.
Linse was struggling with various personal issues, including a history of alcohol abuse and health problems like Type II diabetes, for which he was not taking medication. Additionally, Linse was reportedly depressed, which raised concerns that he may have been in a vulnerable state. It's possible that he attempted to travel to Portland, Oregon, where his estranged wife lived. His car had been towed, and his driver's license was suspended, leading investigators to believe he may have used public transportation. Despite extensive efforts, Linse has not been seen or heard from since, and his case remains unsolved.
