Robert Mark Peters, 43, went missing on June 28, 2009, from the Hidden Valley Campground near Greenville, Missouri. He had been camping with two friends and was planning to meet his wife and daughters later that day. Peters was last seen around 4:30 a.m., reportedly asking a nearby camper for directions back to his campsite. He asked for directions again about 20 minutes later, seeming disoriented.
