Heather Danielle Cannon, 15 years old at the time of her disappearance, was last seen on August 27, 2009, in Athens, Texas. She was reportedly living with her biological father, Jerral Whitley, when she vanished. Initially, authorities believed Heather left voluntarily, possibly to run away to Colorado with her boyfriend, as her belongings were packed up when she disappeared. However, subsequent investigations found no evidence that she ever made it to Colorado.
