Troy Le, an 18-year-old student from San Diego, went missing on March 20, 2010, while visiting Torrey Pine Beach with his girlfriend. During their time at the beach, his girlfriend encountered difficulties in the water, prompting Troy to enter the ocean with a boogie board in an attempt to rescue her.
