William Kelly Buntain, aged 49, went missing from Ramona, California, on March 22, 2010. He left his home around 1 p.m. that day, telling his wife he was going to buy bottled water but never returned. Later that day, he was seen near Lake Sutherland, where a San Diego worker reported seeing him upset and crying. Buntain mentioned that his mother had passed away, although she was actually still alive, suggesting that he may have been confused at the time due to emotional and mental struggles.
