On the morning of his 42nd birthday, March 30, 2011, Male Martain Bryant was last seen in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was observed leaving his room at the Days Inn on West Sugar Creek Road at approximately 8:30 a.m. Bryant, a student at Central Piedmont Community College, was dressed in jeans, a white t-shirt, and a black jacket at the time of his disappearance. Disturbingly, he left all of his personal belongings behind in his hotel room, including his cell phone, which suggested to investigators that he had intended to come back. A relative officially reported him as a missing person on April 4, 2011.

Martain Bryant is described as a family man, a father of three children, and one of seven siblings. His sudden and unexplained disappearance raised immediate concerns among his family and law enforcement. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department launched an investigation into his case, interviewing those who knew him and exploring various leads in an effort to piece together the events leading up to his disappearance. Despite their efforts, his whereabouts remain unknown.

The investigation into Martain Bryant's disappearance has led authorities to suspect that foul play may have been involved. Over the years, his case has remained open, and he is still listed as a missing person. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has, at one point, offered a reward for information that could lead to a breakthrough in the case. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance on his birthday, the fact that he left all his possessions behind, and the lack of any communication since that day create a deeply troubling and unresolved mystery.
