Cindy Valle, a 15-year-old girl from Omaha, Nebraska, went missing on August 26, 2011. At the time, she was five to six months pregnant and planned to name her baby Selena, who was due in December 2011. Cindy left a note for her family, which said, "I'm living with a lady." Authorities initially believed she left voluntarily, but her family became increasingly concerned, fearing she may have met with foul play.
