Mark Marvin, a 39-year-old from San Francisco, was last seen on October 6, 2011. He had been living with his partner in the 200 block of Divisadero Street. When his partner returned home in the early hours of October 7, Mark was not there. His partner initially assumed he might have stayed with a friend, but after not hearing from him, a missing persons report was filed on October 8.
