Juan Puente Guzman, a 36-year-old man, was last seen on January 1, 1974, in San Francisco, California. He had been working various jobs in the city, including as a gardener and maintenance worker at apartment complexes. Guzman took a Greyhound bus to visit family in Fresno shortly before his disappearance. After spending about a week with them, his family dropped him off at the bus station for his return trip to San Francisco.
