Sharon Anne Harrer, aged 20, was last seen on November 26, 1979, in St. Petersburg, Florida. She had been at DJ's Pioneer Club on Madeira Beach Causeway that night and was last observed getting into a Cadillac with a man who called himself Robert Crawford. Two days later, she reportedly called a friend from an unknown location in Tampa, asking for a ride. However, she has not been heard from since.
At the time of her disappearance, Sharon worked as a waitress at the Fantasm Club in St. Petersburg, a job she had only recently started. She was a native of Buffalo, New York, and was living with her parents in Florida. Sharon was described as being 5'4" tall, weighing around 98 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She had a distinctive tattoo of the Rolling Stones tongue emblem on one of her buttocks.
Her case remains unsolved, and foul play is suspected. Investigators have been searching for answers for decades, but no significant breakthroughs have been made. The St. Petersburg Police Department continues to investigate her disappearance.
