Lillie Darlene Miller, a 21-year-old woman from Riviera Beach, Florida, disappeared under mysterious circumstances on December 11, 1981. At the time, Miller was working as a secretary for the Riviera Beach City Hall. On the day of her disappearance, she left her office around noon to have lunch with her fiancé, Otis Morgan, at his apartment in West Palm Beach. According to Morgan, they had lunch together, but Miller never returned to work and was never seen or heard from again.

Later that day, Miller's car, a beige 1979 Pontiac Grand Prix, was found parked near her workplace, unlocked and with no sign of foul play. Despite extensive searches, Miller's whereabouts remained unknown. Morgan, her fiancé, quickly became the primary suspect in the investigation due to his behavior and his history of violent incidents. Witnesses reportedly saw a man resembling Morgan near a wooded area carrying a shovel on the day Miller went missing. Morgan was also implicated in the murder of a previous girlfriend in 1979 and had a troubling record of domestic abuse.

Six months after Miller's disappearance, Morgan died by suicide, on what was supposed to be their wedding day. He left no note explaining what had happened to Miller, and no conclusive evidence linking him to her disappearance was ever found. Despite this, investigators strongly suspected Morgan of being responsible for her disappearance. His death further complicated the investigation, and no significant leads emerged afterward.

Miller's case remains unsolved, and foul play is suspected. Her family, including her five siblings, held a memorial service a year after her disappearance. More than four decades later, the case is still open, and detectives continue to seek answers regarding what happened to Lillie Miller on that fateful December day in 1981.
