Merryl Horowitz, 26, disappeared from Valley Stream, New York, on November 1, 1980. On the day she went missing, she had a heated argument with her mother and subsequently walked out of the house. Merryl was not allowed to take her 1-year-old son with her, and after leaving, she was never seen or heard from again.
