Mae Gebhard Missing Person Case

Mae W. Gebhard, a 65-year-old woman, was last seen on February 24, 1981, in San Francisco, California. On the day of her disappearance, Mae had an argument with her husband of 48 years regarding a phone bill. Following the argument, she called the police. When officers arrived, they suggested that one of them take a walk to cool down. Mae left their home on 44th Avenue in the Sea Cliff area but never returned. Her husband reported her missing later that night.
