Edrel Mae Pierce, a 56-year-old woman from Honeydew, California, was last seen on May 17, 1981. On that day, she walked down her driveway to mail some letters and never returned. Pierce had a history of mental health issues and had been a psychiatric patient for many years. At the time of her disappearance, she was in poor health.
