Michael Guy Johnston, 32, was last seen on July 22, 1981, in Brigham City, Utah. On the night of his disappearance, Johnston had met Debbie Griffiths at a local bar. They played pool and spent time together, much to the jealousy of Rudy Matthew Rebeterano, Griffiths' ex-husband. Griffiths and Rebeterano had a turbulent relationship, with his jealousy having led to violent outbursts in the past.
