Margie Ann Ranshaw, a 29-year-old woman from Barryton, Michigan, went missing on May 17, 1987. On the day of her disappearance, she left her home to buy a gallon of milk but never returned. Several weeks later, her car was found abandoned at a hotel off Interstate 96 in Howell, Michigan, about 100 miles away from where she was last seen. Margie was a mother to a two-month-old daughter, who was left behind and later adopted by relatives.
