In the spring of 2012, a 31-year-old woman named Estela Blanca Beteta Lopez undertook a perilous journey, crossing the U.S.-Mexico border into Arizona with a group. The harsh realities of the trek proved overwhelming. After walking for four or five days, Estela was last seen by the group on May 18, 2012. It was reported that she had been left behind unconscious near a highway, her companions continuing on without her. Her case drew concern as her exact whereabouts and condition remained unknown ...
