In the spring of 1996, 39-year-old Debra Hageman was a resident of the small community of Burns, Colorado. On April 14th, a report was made about a single-vehicle accident involving her car. The vehicle had gone off the Colorado River Road and plunged into the cold, fast-flowing waters of the Colorado River.
