Anthony Barela, a 40-year-old man from Chino, California, was last seen on January 11, 2001, at 1:00 a.m. He left his home that night, possibly heading to Long Beach or Compton, but never returned. Barela was last seen wearing a white dress shirt, gray pants, black boots, and a gold nugget ring. He has two distinctive tattoos on his upper right arm: an eagle design with the words "Mi Vida" beneath it.

Despite the passage of time, there are still very few clues regarding his disappearance. Barela's vehicle was found abandoned two months later, on March 13, 2001, in Los Angeles. His case remains unsolved, and there have been no significant leads regarding his whereabouts since that time. Barela's family continues to seek answers, and the case is classified as endangered missing, with local authorities still working on the investigation.
