On the evening of May 22, 2003, 32-year-old Gary James Swanson, a man described by his family as religious and family-oriented, was last seen by relatives at his home in Aledo, Illinois. At approximately 7:30 p.m., in the area of the 1400 block of 120th Avenue, his family saw him for the last time.
