On a late summer day, the waters of Commencement Bay in Tacoma, Washington, became the last known location for 24-year-old Dustin Lewis Johnson. On September 6, 2003, the young man, a male with brown hair and blue eyes, went scuba diving and never resurfaced. He was reported to be wearing a wet suit and full scuba gear at the time of his disappearance. The official report of his disappearance was filed the following day, launching an investigation into the perplexing and sorrowful event.
