Shinho "Steve" Seo, a 34-year-old man, was last seen on January 1, 2004, while scuba diving off the coast of Punta Prieta, Mexico, in the Sea of Cortez. At the time, Seo, a spear fisherman, was diving around 60 feet beneath the surface. After he failed to resurface, his diving companions found his speargun floating nearby. The spear had been fired, and the cord led to a coral cave, but there was no trace of Seo.
