Christopher Wayne Bailey, a 39-year-old man from Gaithersburg, Maryland, was last seen on August 25, 2006. He was reportedly walking shoeless along Route 270 in Montgomery County. According to sources, Bailey was suffering from an undiagnosed mental disorder, which may have contributed to his vulnerable state at the time of his disappearance. A family friend was the last known person to have seen him walking on that day.
