John Northrup, age 55, was last heard from on July 25, 2007, in Denver, Colorado. At the time, he contacted a witness, stating that he was in New York, "re-thinking" his life following a recent criminal conviction. However, his family and friends never heard from him again after this phone call. Northrup was officially reported missing on September 14, 2007, approximately two months after he had already vanished.
