Maidie Gibbs, age 89, went missing on August 28, 2011, from Rochester, Vermont. Her disappearance coincided with the devastating floods caused by Hurricane Irene, which impacted much of the region. Maidie was last seen near Woodlawn Cemetery, where significant flooding swept through the area, leading to the displacement of multiple individuals, including several members of the Gibbs family.
