Jack Hemby, a 76-year-old man from Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico, was last seen on November 15, 2011. He had left his girlfriend’s house that day and vanished shortly after. His car, a tan 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit, was found abandoned almost a month later, on December 8, 2011, in the parking garage of the Inn of the Mountain Gods, a resort on the Mescalero Apache Reservation. No further traces of him were discovered, and there have been few clues about what happened to him after he disappeared.
