Doris "Pat" Carter, aged 61, was last seen on December 16, 2011, at her home in Plant City, Florida, where she lived with her daughter. She and her partner, Kelly Moriarty, disappeared together along with Moriarty's vehicle. Moriarty’s car was found abandoned a few days later on State Road 62 in Parrish, but there was no trace of either woman.
