Danyel Lynn Pauley, a 29-year-old woman from Indianapolis, Indiana, was last seen on July 20, 2012. On that day, she was spotted getting into a red Chevrolet Suburban with an unidentified African-American male near the 1000 block of West 10th Street. Following this, Pauley was never heard from again. Her disappearance raised concerns among friends and family, especially after she did not contact them even after the death of her best friend, which occurred shortly after she went missing.
Pauley had a history of drug abuse and prostitution, and she frequented areas known for these activities in Indianapolis, including West 10th Street and Shadeland Avenue. Despite her troubled past, she was known to keep in touch with her family during spontaneous trips, even when traveling far, such as to Mexico. However, on this occasion, she left behind her truck and all of her belongings, a worrying sign for her loved ones.
Danyel had distinctive tattoos, including one or two pink roses with the name "Rylan" on her left shoulder, a tattoo on her lower back, and a depiction of Tinkerbell on her right thigh. She also had pierced ears and had previously broken her foot. Despite investigations, her case remains unsolved, and she left behind two sons who are still awaiting answers.
