In the heart of Indianapolis, a family's ordinary life was disrupted on February 23, 2026, marking the last time 12-year-old Nikola Butler was seen. Concern grew quickly as it became apparent that Nikola was not the only member of his family to have vanished. He is believed to be with his six siblings: Aubrielle, Polaris, Earthum, Orion, Azrael, and Joseph Butler.
