In the summer of 2012, the Brown family traveled from their home in Cartersville, Georgia, to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for a vacation. This trip was a special occasion, as it was the first time Johnny Lamar Brown, a 43-year-old dependent adult, had ever been on vacation outside of his home state.
