William Andrew Carpenter, aged 46, was last seen on June 17, 1990, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Carpenter had traveled to the area with a large sum of cash, intending to purchase a hotel. His family believes that he may have fallen victim to foul play, likely due to the significant amount of money he was carrying at the time. Carpenter was last known to have stayed at a motel in nearby Conway, South Carolina, but he has not been heard from since.
