On August 28, 2012, a family vacation in Montauk, New York, took a distressing turn when 50-year-old George Richardson vanished without a trace. A hospital executive from Dix Hills, Richardson was staying at Hartman's Briney Breezes Motel with his wife, Mary, and their three young sons. His wife last saw him in their motel room at approximately 1 a.m. When she woke at 6 a.m., he was no longer there.
