William "Bill" Campbell Underhill, a 20-year-old University of Minnesota student, disappeared on March 1, 1969, after leaving a party near Dinkytown in Minneapolis. Underhill, who grew up in St. Paul, had battled polio as a child and enjoyed fishing, weightlifting, and outdoor activities.
