Alice had been involved with the Minutemen, a right-wing paramilitary group, but had recently distanced herself from them and reportedly feared for her life. Her family believed her disappearance was related to her leaving the group and possibly providing information about them to the authorities. Despite this suspicion, no solid evidence has emerged to confirm the theory, and Alice has never been located.
