On July 4, 1977, Jean Block, 58, and her husband John, 57, departed from Macomb Airport in Michigan, flying their small Cessna airplane. They were heading to northern Michigan to celebrate Independence Day with their son. Unfortunately, they never reached their destination at Lost Creek Sky Ranch Airport in Luzerne, Michigan.
