Mary was hitchhiking at the time, and her last known contact was a phone call to her family from the island. She was described as 5'4" to 5'6" in height, weighing between 180 to 200 pounds, with brown hair, hazel eyes, and a chipped front tooth. She may have also used the last name "Podma."
